Its was 10 weeks worth of cast wearing for my little Sarah after her arm was broken in August.
4 xrays later the day finally came.
As they were cutting into the cast they caught skin.....many times in the same area.
She is unhappy, and in a lot of pain but I'm sure after a few days she will have full appreciation on what it means to be free.
In the meantime there will be physio and massages and a lot of love to be given.

Ouch! I hope that she had a speedy recovery!
OH, poor thing. I broke my ankle 5 years ago, and had a cast too. They nicked my skin many times also. I recommend putting a bandage with neosporin (triple antibiotic) on it and it will heal in no time! Congrats on being cast free though~
