Taking over

My poor wife is still struggling with morning (all day) sickness.
What does that mean for me? I get to take over the housework and cooking and
whatever else i can do to help. The poor kids, i am not as good a cook as Melissa, although
I can't say they complain about having pikelets and ice cream for dinner.
I'm Ryan, and I'm afraid you have to put up with me until Mel gets better.

In the days to come i would like to tell you about an amazing trip i took mid last year
with my father and youngest brother.
We travelled almost 4500km from Brisbane to Lake Eyre and back through Birdsville.
The carving in the trunk of this Coolibah tree on the banks of Cooper creek outside Innamincka is of the famous Robert O'Hara Burke who lost his life there in 1861.
I hope to share more photos of the outback in my next post as well as updates on Mel, as of tuesday she is 8 weeks.

Welcome to the Blogging world Ryan, who knows you may get addicted whilst taking over from Melissa and create your own blog although you probably wont have the time once the bub comes along :-) LOL

Hope you start feeling better soon Melissa - this part can't be much fun for you!
