Staying Home

It only happens a few days a week,
but when it happens there's a certain peace that comes over our hom.e
Most of the days are filled with appointments for the doctor, dentist, hospital, physio
groceries, op shopping, homeschooling classes, playdates, library, and so on.
There are days when we just want to stay home and play.
Although we did head off for a swim/float first thing in the morning,
now that we are home there is so much that we can do.....
or we can do nothing at all!

Drooling over the glistening comb honey,
getting lost in the scent of newly arrived bees wax.
Dreaming of bee keeping and goat raising.

Afternoon naps

Foraging in the backyard for lunch

Planning school holiday activities and projects
(I need to relocate my sewing area)

Cooking, minimal cleaning
Mammas favourite tv program watching

Reading, play and make believe

And maybe just a bit more baby preparations....

Oh yes those days are so important. I am such a serious homebody.
And oh my that is a large chunk of wax! I have to ask where you got it? I'm after some to make some of my own wood polish...
Ellie looks rather pleased with it all...it's almost as big as her!
And that's a delicious basket of backyard goodies there too.... x
