Over the month that has gone by we have been up to many things.
One of the most memorable and pleasurable was to be honoured with an exchange shtudent
that stayed with us for 3 weeks
Riho came all the way from Tokyo, Japan, not speaking much English.
We had no trouble communicating, sometimes laughing till we cried, enjoying each others company through the small amount of time we had together.
We explored! Picnicked and wandered around Brisbane Botanical gardens
Taking her to my favourite hangout... Pottsville!
Collecting and being blown away!
Fishing, playing and passing on my love for felting.
Thank you Riho, for being kind to my family, for sharing your culture, cooking craft and smiles.
We already miss you greatly and look forward to keeping in contact with you.

Ha! I'm so silly...for some reason I thought you meant you had a *baby* staying with you. Looks like a lot of fun there...sharing cultures. Oh and I spy a little fishing and yabbying nook in there that was quite popular with us not too far back! x
Oh-what a great experience for her-and what a welcoming and loving family you all are!
