Just joining in for today. Click on the picture to be taken to the site.
Outside my window the grass glistens as the sun peeks over the tall fences, ready to warm our home for the day.
I am thinking of our special guest we will be hosting in a few weeks time from Japan. Lots of preparation to do.
I am thankful for my beautiful family, loving husband and a good nights sleep last night.
From the learning room Ellie will be learning her letters again today.
There will be animal science, gardening, cooking
and mama will be exploring her felting capabilities.
From the kitchen comes a feeling of loneliness and neglect. The cupboards are becoming bare and there is lots of scrubbing to be done.
Some day soon I say as we have enough for a lovely roast dinner tonight.
I just have to find myself someone to cook for me.
I am wearing a black and gray stripy dress and white cardy. My feet are cold.
I am creating a baby in my womb. Today i feel a lot more closer to him (thanks to the good night sleep again)
His movements yesterday were tiring. Every time i sat down to rest he got me back on my feet again with movement.
I am going to have a nap after lunch (i am saying this with a grin on my face.... I love my bed!)
I am reading all of the blogs on the right side of this page.
No time to pick up a book just yet.
I may have to go and source one out of my book case though.
I am hoping that I don't feel sick today. World peace would be good too!
I am hearing the neighbors cars being filled with school children, doors being slammed. No birds this morning...
Around the house a very sad attempt of nesting will be put into full throttle whether instinct shift into gear or not.
One of my favorite things is my saxophone. It shall be dusted off and played today.
It will! It will!
I have been very slack with my practice and i think baby will appreciate the smooth sounds.
A few plans for the rest of the week another trip to the doctors. A clean house (ha) Shopping (sigh) and creating something.
Here is a picture for thought I am sharing

Ellie at the age of 3 and a half? In the garden making a fairy ring.

I hope you are enjoying that nap...I'd love one too but alas no time.
Such a lovely list of goings on...with time to stop a minute and reflect in the moment.
This is a very nice introduction to your blog, I have just come across it for the first time. Very sweet photograph!
Hi Melissa...
I was going to email you but I have lost your address.
I've been thinking about you a lot lately and haven't seen you in your space here (you've been missed!) for so long I can't help but wonder if everything is ok in your part of our town?
I hope you are well and haven't been struggling with your ailments again...truly! You've had enough of a bumpy ride this pregnancy. I hope that baby is still growing beautifully.
If you feel like an email chat you can find me here... leannecoley(at)hotmail(dot)com.
Thinking of you! x
