I have been in this body for 32 years now and have come to learn to listen to it
(most of the time)
I find it very interesting, listening to the cravings that come with pregnancy
With my last pregnancy I craved Oysters all the time.
I was naughty enough to eat them fresh...by the dozen on a weekly basis
It was later that i learnt about all the things that i was deficient in, as well as my baby
had a lot to do with my cravings
So this time round:
I craved orange foods for a few weeks.
Orange juice and fruit, carrots were a staple while i was ill
Now its all raw baby!
Green smoothies and raw salads
my mouth is watering while i type this.
I'm put off by cooked foods, i can eat them but if you ask me what i want for dinner...
Salad!

Oh yum yum yum....I was eyeing both these off the other day!! It's been too long since I've done the smoothie thing (and Kale season is about to begin) and that salad looks so divine. You go girl...listen to that body and babe. x
Wow, raw baby, how fantastic and that salad does look devine, I could eat it right out of the screen.
We have slipped for the last couple of months since moving but we just made the decision to get back to eating 90% raw again - the energy and thought patterns are totally like nothing else.
I have the most delicious "Raw Muesli" recipe that I will email you and check out "Kristen's Raw" blog as she is also pregnant on a raw food diet.
What an amazing gift you are giving yourself and child and to have the courage to follow through with what both your body & baby are telling you - very special indeed.
I only wish I had been on a raw diet when I was pregnant!!
That looks so yummy! I joined the green smoothie challenge last week, and I am very excited about it. We normally have a green smoothie in our day, but it is good to learn from others and enjoy more info. Your salad looks incredible. I think that I have to try that one :)
To be craving healthy foods is great!
