More Monday Summer Pics!

A mango seed made its way into our worm farm
Such a treat to see it growing
Now we are nurturing it and singing this song everytime we see it

Better late than never.... the promised storms of Christmas and early January
have been few and far between.
Catching a small part of a large storm floating over south west Brisbane,
enjoying the light show,
being devoured by mosquito's,
getting sinus pain from all the flashes,
and now listening to the rain fall while the air cools.

What a wonderful surprise to have discovered. That will be fascinating to see grow.

Fantastic - what a great opportunity to learn for Ellie. We have a mango tree down the back with so many mango's on them but the birds are getting to them quicker than we can. I think the trick is to take them off the tree whilst they are still green and ripen them in the sun up at the house. I also just found a banana tree

A mango tree would be a nice surprise to find I would think.

I was scared of storms when I was a child-but now I love a good storm!

Oh we have a seed awaiting sprouting here too...it's the baby of another of our babies...from a 100+ year old tree. Mango's...so divine...so summer.
Oh and I love that song...
