Foraging and Therapy

Yesterday after getting our daily chores done early i took my girls out to
Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens.
It was so good to be out, let alone around all the beautiful plants.
As soon as we walked in my headache eased (7 days and counting)
my shoulders dropped and i felt at peace.
We came here specifically to forage after receiving an etsy buy off our friend Melissa.
Ellie was so excited to tear into the packaging and almost cried
when she pulled out her very own "collecting bag".
She filled it to the brim within the first hour,
mumma protesting at the odd piece of discarded wrapper
and broken glass to be cleaned up.

We sat quietly waiting for the Swamp Hen to reposition herself.

I feel the same peace that i felt at the gardens just typing up this post.

The trip took Sarah's mind off her arm and we all enjoyed it.
Planning to head back again soon to see the baby Swamp Hens.
