Makin night, bunting

Friday night... date night. Just me and my sewing machine.
There was itching going on all day.
Every time i walked past my fabric stash i found something i wanted to use.
Knowing something was going to be made i got all my chores done before the kids hopped into bed.

I have been wanting to make bunting since the littlest's ones 1st birthday party.
I bought the material before hand wanting to get it done in time but there was no time.
I have to declare that i LOVE my rotary cutter. It was the first time using it. It was all too easy.

A little cheesecake break makes making all the better.
It took me around 4 hours but i managed to finish it all before going to bed.

I am very pleased with the end result. I ran out of bias tape so i still have 8 flags left to hang

And now for my next trick..... making a cot quilt from the scraps

I really really need to get around to doing this! I think of it every birthday, but somehow it never happens! Good on you for getting it done.
