After looking around at Down in the meadow
i found this post on a rock candy experiment.
After the kids did a few chores (Saturday is chore day)
we gathered up the ingredients and set about making them.
It was hard to translate the scientific part to a five year old but i simplified it as much as possible without confusing her.
We all had a great time doing it.

Now all i have to do is get through the next four weeks listening to "is it ready yet?' around twenty times a day!
